Times of examinations: Weekdays mornings and afternoons and Saturday mornings.

                                 Saturday 8.30 am to 12.30 pm

Time required: Full examination – about 1 hour.
                         X-ray only – 15 to 30 minutes.

Women are requested not to come during menstruation as this can make interpretation of the urine test difficult.

Results:

• The completed documents will be sent to the Australian Embassy in Tokyo, or in some cases directly to Australia, on the Tuesday, Thursday, or Saturday (whichever is sooner) following the day of the examination, or after blood test results are received (if these are needed).
  
• Expedited service: For an additional fee of ¥5,250 (tax included), the documents and chest X-ray may be sent by courier to the Australian Embassy in Tokyo on the day of the examination (or on the next working day when the examination is performed on a Saturday) or on the day of receipt of blood test results.

Please bring the following with you:

• The form(s) provided by the Australian Embassy, or the eHealth ‘Examination Referral Letter’ printed out from the Internet
• A valid passport (not copy)
• Glasses or contact lenses, if worn
• Two passport size colour photographs for the full examination, one if an X-ray only is required or if only one form is provided. (For eHealth applicants, the photo will be taken at the Clinic.)

Fees (including tax):

If the documents need to be sent to Australia, an additional charge is made to cover the cost of the courier service.
